On Wednesday night at the Liverpool game, i parked my car in the little road that runs parallel with the A27 about half between Falmer and Lewes. When i got back some B*****D had keyed and dented right down the side of my car. The road was packed with other cars, i just wonder if any others were done. Was it a Liverpool fan or disgruntled locals. In future i will not have my brighton stickers in it, it makes it too much of a target.

I'm waiting for an articulated lorry to plough into the cars parked on the lay bys on the A27 east of Falmer.

Low chance of it happening i agree, but it only takes a tired foreign driver who recalls the lay by,but has not been here for a while and bamm.

we parked in that little road but the club placed a little note saying we cant park there anymore

It's not a private road,as i understand,private roads have pillars/posts at the entrance,as i understand,somebody could correct me if i am wrong.

The road that goes up the hill is the Private road to the farm. the ash-felted road to the right is a bridleway, no cars allowed.
That doesn't excuse vandalism though.

If the car was legally parked....what IS your problem?

I have no problem. Just reminding that we're not supposed to drive to the stadium. We're supposed to use the sustainable travel options. Particularly if we're going to soon be asking to add another 8000 seat. Not every comment on NSC has to end in an argument or an angry counter post.

That's an accident waiting to happen. I've seen cars pull out dangerously slowly into the oncoming traffic of the A27 several times now. No run up as they are driving out from behind other parked cars. On Wednesday, a car pulled out suddenly into the path of a bus causing the bus to veer across the road and slow down the fast lane in the process. Surely the Police will stop this practise and ban people from parking in a layby?
