A much better version of Crofts I would say.

He is going to be top class. A real all rounder who gets from box to box and covers a shed load of ground in a game.

I like him a lot.

A much better version of Crofts would make him very good indeed as before he was injured, he was a strong contender for player of the season.

If, as Bensgrandad suggests, he's the new Brian Horton then he would be immense!

Hither (sometimes Thither)
I would like to think he's a cut above Crofts in the long run. I was an anti-Croftsite for some time, mostly for his disappearance from play for an eternity and a constantly dreaded thought of guaranteed loss of the ball as moves ended clumsily with him, but that did change in his last string of performances. Still, i would think whilst not identical players that the Dalester has more in his game in terms of creativity that will make for a greater combination of high-energy football and incisiveness than Crofts can offer. Ince and Dale as a central two should be a pair of box-to-box potent danger-mufflers and i like the sound of that jazz.
