Anyone else remember the late curt newman who died recently aged just 51......dont know if he still has, but he had barbers along london rd brighton just along from hare and hounds...was really a great guy , i went in there many a times..im going back in the days when circus circus was called the stanford and there was pub half way along london rd called the elephant and castle...those were the days when you would spend yer dinner hour getting half cut over few games o pool... how times change !!!

what happened to him? Barbers is still there now called Hughie's. Curt had the ladies hairdressers upstairs. Had no idea he had passed away. he used to play football in younger days

dont know how why he died..its in argus deaths births column today, died all of sudden apparantly

Very sad news. My aunt did her hairdressing training with him many years ago. He did my hair a couple of times when I went through a phase of having it highlighted (not much left now to highlight). Was always a good laugh.

RIP Curt.
