I would think a better option would be Trevor Sinclair released by Cardiff

Disagree.

Currie's game has always been about good footwork and a great delivery - he still has that.

Sinclair's game was always about pace - he no longer has that.

Here we go then, the Currie speculation starts now!

As a squad player rather than 1st choice I'd be happy to see him back. His deliveries and trickery coupled with his experience would undoubtably be an asset imo.

I thought he was Luton's best player in the game at Withdean and he showed plenty of motivation.

I have to say I think it would be a HUGE backward step signing up a 33 year old who made little or no impact at a club relegated from our league last season.

I agree totally, I'd rather see us sign a young speedy winger.

Steady now girls and boys....the article only says he's been released by Luton...like a load of players all over the country....personally do not think we need him, times change, was good for us a while back, but there must be a young winger somewhere....

If Currie can put the ball on Murray's head once a game then I'm all for this move.

He is getting on though and will rely on the youngsters doing his running for him.
