ITV4 currently have a Saint & Greavsie Cup Final compilation on. It's like another world seeing Everton's park like training pitch in 1984 and 1985's Old Trafford's souvenir shop in a shed selling player photos for 25p. :ROFLMAO:

I'd argue it was the worst there's ever been by far. So we're not likely to agree on the other stuff :):)
I thought it was brilliant mixing with all the fans in the same place. Never met so many different nationalities through the time we were there! Compared to usual you only really see England fans and maybe whoever we are playing before moving on.

Given our Ecuadorean and Argentinian contingent especially was a lot of fun in the bars

Meh! ITV used to have Dickie Davies on the Wembley turf being teased by Freddie Star dressed as Hitler in wellies. Now that's a proper cup final day
Saw my earlier post then! :)
Apologies old boy.

But clearly great minds think alike 😂

Just been in the pub reminiscing about dear old Freddie and his ‘specialist‘ act, 49 years ago.

Happy times ❤️

Love Cup Final day regardless.

Still a special day in the sporting calendar. And the 3pm KO is right.

Wish Coventry were facing City for the giant-killing potential, but that glorious SF defeat was a moment in itself.

Wish Coventry were facing City for the giant-killing potential, but that glorious SF victory that was then stolen from them by VAR was a moment in itself.
Corrected for you! And that's why I'm not interested today. Would have been watching it if Coventry had got through - but not interested in Utd winning anything.

That makes sense. I guess it depends where you are. I’m usually based in one place for work, so don’t follow England around. Paris, Amsterdam, Rio and Moscow especially (and sadly, now) would take some beating. Apart from the convenience, there was really nothing of much interest to me in Doha. Fair to say, by the time it goes to Saudi Arabia I’ll have called it a day!
