Having never heard of him and from only seeing the reel he appears to like a toe punt, he looks quick, misses loads when he maybe had better options ( I guess he can improve with coaching ), didn’t see very much defensively which would be his primary role was a little concerning but having said that what do I know when my personal best achievement football wise was Sunday league division 11pub team

Also, fun to note.

His real name is Luis Eduardo Soares da Silva, but he goes by Cuiabano as his nickname/football name, because he is from the city of Cuiaba.

Its like Dunk just being known as "Brightonian", or Hinshelwood as "Worthingite".
Would still be the flairest Brazilian nickname since Revelldinho

I play footy with a Botafogo fan, and he says "He's one of the best of the team right now... he's originally a LB but he's playing forward as a winger. Runs a lot, has a good cross, good shot from outside the area, just needs to improve on defense, but he's just 22 so still young. Botafogo will play the FIFA Club World Cup next month, good chance to watch him playing vs Europe teams"

Tldr; he's shithouse

I trust that there will be a big focus on our full backs this coming transfer window.

Veltman - Best shithouser. Best defensively. Neat passing. Not great going forward. Slow. Too many injuries this season. Fan favourite but out of contract soon.

Lamptey - Best at attacking. Worst defensively. Mostly injured but for balance, seems a very nice guy. Out of contract soon.

Pervis - Has had a sketchy season but was immense under De Zerbi for a while. Injuries too but could return to top form next season. Loves an assist and is sometimes very good in defence. Keep!

Kadıoğlu - Seems to play every position but defensively suspect. He was showing great form before he acquired 'Lineker's Toe Syndrome'. Keep!

Various Midfielders - Stick to midfield next season please.

Offiah - Out of contract soon. I can't say that I've seen a lot of evidence to suggest that he is a top 10 EPL fullback but I've not seen too much of him.

We could get a couple of newbies couldn't we. This lad and Costa from Juve.

I think Solly would be a great left back option for us. Has played there before and done well. Can defend, overlap and has a decent cross.

Offiah was nominated for player of the season, and although he didn't win, Blackpool fans love him. I would keep, and loan to a championship/European club.

Back on topic, Ornstein is one of the most legitimate sources, so sounds promising.

Offiah is being released surely? 23 in October, no apparent contract offer on the table.

Let's hope he gets a contract extension then.

With regards to Cuiabano, he looks like a unit with the physical presence that Hürzeler seems to value highly. He could be the perfect back-up to Pervis if we get this right.

It's worth noting Pervis's goal involvements have declined from 10 to 7 to 2 in the 3 seasons he's been here. I'm sure Hurzeler will want more offensive production from his LB.

On the scant basis of his YouTube videos, Cuiabano's stats, and the level he's been playing at I'd say this could be £10million well spent.

In all honesty I didn't realise that his contract was almost up. I'm not sure he would bother the first team with us, but it would have been nice to get a fee for him, via further successful loans
He's 22, not 23 - whether he could make the first team or not, it would be a crying shame if we let him go for nothing; certainly at least worth a good six-figure sum to a Championship club. Got to be at the level of Cochrane (£300K to Hearts, it was reported), New two year contract and a Championship loan? Might be worth it, if he agrees.
