I actually don't mind people leaving early , at least it means that everyone is forced to stand for the last 10 mins , atmosphere always is better then

Where can you buy megaphones?

anyone remember the fuss and palaver at Wycombe when some Brighton fans brought a megaphone in?

" Its over there"

"Its over here"

Stewards were getting very very annoyed

I seem to recall someone up in the seats at Hereford had a megaphone too.

The megaphone wasn't brought in. It belonged to the stewards but somehow got purloined during the match. When the stewards realised they tried to retrieve it and somehow it kept getting passed along the rows and from back to front and back again.

there will be something for the Withdean crowd to help add to the atmosphere if we make it to the play off semi's

and yes it will be FREE of charge to home fans from the club

Not those f***ing CLACKING THINGS that the Fulham fans had yesterday!!!!

I wish the stewards AND police would usher those who choose to watch the last few minutes from the runnings track out of the ground immediatly then maybe people wouldn't leave their seats and ensure everyone else, who remain in their seats until full time, can see the rest of the game and not queues of people too inconsiderate to wait until the final whistle before leaving. It's really f***ing annoying and rude.

Out of interest Chappers, what part of your view are these people blocking????

I was in the toilet as Forster was taking the penalty, As usual missed the goal

BUT THE NOISE as i walked back past the whole of the south stand to the chant of ALBION was pure amazing.

Well done to the whole of the south stand who made an amazing noise as i walked from A through to J blocks as you made the hairs on the back of my neck stand right on end.

Well done all

Even if he did he wouldn't have been standing in front of all the Albion fans as a steward would he??

And anyway let's put things into perspective.

On Saturday the atmosphere was fantastic when you bear in mind the usual atmosphere at the Withdean. I think that was the point he was trying to make Das.

You cannot seriously compare that to 83, it wouldn't be fair.

The other week I was sat in G block. Because everyone was leaving 5 minutes before time I couldn't see the south east quarter of the pitch at all. It's just annoying and a bit of a gripe I've got and it all comes from the fact that people can't get out of the stand as there's hundreds on the running track watching the last few minutes.

Have to hand it to H block, not only were there NO wilkins out chants, they even managed to sing "we are going up", and "we're going to Wemberlee"

its amazing what happens when the crowd get behind the team and support them!!!

despite the rain, it was a great withdean experience

well worth a tenner then.

Sat in the North Stand yesterday.

Just proves that Withdean CAN be noisey, particularly when we're winning - it's just a case of getting people to sing. Even without a roof, the whole South Stand can still make a hell of a noise.

H block sounded pretty good too - maybe it's easier to enjoy the singing block without actually sitting in it!

Not those f***ing CLACKING THINGS that the Fulham fans had yesterday!!!!

I was at that game yesterday and, despite my refusal to join in anything 'orchestrated' by anybody other than the fans themselves, I have to concede that it made for a much better atmosphere than Fulham usually have this season. Usually I hate all that shit but it worked for them...

yep was ay wembley in 83 and an amazing experience for a 10 year old:thumbsup:

My comment was more aimed at the amount of noise the south stand was making. The noise is the best i have ever heard at the Withdean.

:clap2::clap2::clap2::clap2::clap2: to everyone in the stadium on Saturday

I agree completely. I know for a fact that the players find it quite disheartening to see hundreds of people streaming down the steps of the south stand while they are still playing.
I f***ing hope they don't allow it to happen at Falmer.

Perhaps if we kicked off at 2.50 p.m the people in a rush would have no excuse.......no, second thoughts, they'd still do the same if we kicked of at 10 in the morning!

Don't give all that "I have things to do & we don't all live in Brighton you know". The game finishes when the ref blows the final whistle & that is that. Why the f*** do you pay so much to come & watch then leave early? As for standing on the track....why?

It does my head in.

No but it shows how dire the atmosphere has been.
