I love cricket, but I just don't think we're set up as a country to be successful at this form of the game. Test cricket is just too important - and I 100% agree with that. I love test cricket.

Back in the early 90's any team could win these one day tournaments, but Sri Lanka in 96 taught the world how to play one day cricket - and unfortunately we haven't bothered to learn. We've finally dropped Cook, but it's too late. His sacking has set my excitement level at 5, up from 2 with Cook in charge. It's a shame we lost to Pakistan as we were just getting some momentum.

We simply don't have the death bowlers, "key"players are overrated (Broad shouldn't be playing), and we seem to find a way of losing.

Stayed up to watch the WI IRE game, amazing scenes. Ireland Currently 285-4, needing 19 off 49 balls. I think they've got this y'know.

Windies have been poor in the field, their captain dropping Ed Joyce, who looked solid all night. Quality stuff.

Very sad to see the West Indies ongoing decline, there are no new Viv Richards or Michael Holdings that's for sure.
