You could produce a list of football games and ask people to pay you money for guessing what games will be draws.
You pay out a jackpot from the money given to you after taking off a percentage for your costs.
Alternatively you could ask people to select 6 numbers from a maximum of 49 get an old bingo machine and use it to select the 6 numbers. You pay out a sliding scale of prizes from a prize fund made up of half the money paid to you. You pocket 22% of the total money given to you and you promise to donate the remaining 28% to "good causes" which in reality you will use to keep your friends in highly paid positions turning down requests for money from "good causes" that do not involve something that can give the fact that you give money to "good causes" lots of publicity.
Not sure the public would go for these though.
You could open a shop and offer to give people money if they can successfully select the winner of things like horse races or football matches etc.
