Notice for all away fans at Selhurst

--------------------------------------------------------------------------------
You will now be seated down the other end of the Arthur Wait Stand.

This is due to police reasons.

This from one of the new owners

"The costs are going to go UP if we stay with away fans where they are so this is not cost cutting more cost avoidance.

Also there's a safety issue and the other side of the AW is the safest place for Away fans to enter and exit the stadium.

This is less than satisfactory for the fans on the halfway line but the thinking is that there will be a new 'wall' of noise at the Holmesdale end of the AW combined with Block B etc in the Holmesdale.

There is also a lot of research that the away fans behave better close to a family stand.

Its been a difficult choice but we cant jeopardise safety nor do we want an increased bill of over 60K per year and rising."
