To be honest it does have to be a fairly attractive job.

They're a competant team with a good ground that has plenty of room for expansion in an area that has absolutely no problems with concreting over any green space. The catchment area for fans only has a struggling south coast team without capacity to accommodate them and a much hated team from neighbouring county, Surrey, as competition.

Now with a new board involved who have taken the team full time and promised to invest in the playing staff, you'd have to say that there's a fair bit of potential in Crawley Town.

Not that I'd defect for one second, but you can see the attraction.

It is a good job for an up and coming manager. They cant get much worse this season and a breath of fresh air is what is needed.

I would apply, but I have just accepted a different job.

It is a fantastic job.

Once they get used to full time football they have the potential to establish themselves in the football league.
