Christ almighty. Is Cox the only option we have to take set pieces. He messed every one up again today and rarely does he ever produce them on a consistent basis. What is even worse is that 90% of them don't even beat the first defender -absolutley criminal. I think that he needs to concentratre on the execution of them rather than worrying about how flash they are going to look.:annoyed::annoyed::annoyed::annoyed:

agreed, richards has a sweet left foot (as proved by his effort in the second half) - dont understand why he can't take a few more free kicks/corners

i'd drop cox tuesday, give robbo a go for a few gams.

Its been like that for two seasons now...the blokes crap at set pieces and always plays the 50 yard ball rather than the simple ball.

I agree to a point, but he does whip a ball in well sometimes and to be frank he's not going to be much of a threat in the box.

He is a jumped up little shite though

who took the corner for revells winner against bournemouth? robinson wasnt it - he must have a 100% corner to goal ratio this season

Exactly - I always tell my boy to play the simple pass in a match and then I take him to Withdean only to see players like Cox giving the ball away by trying to play passes that they are totally incapable of.

I agree that he can whip a decent cross in but that is in open play and he doesn't do it often enough

Sorry, was this the same Cox who had three corners that nearly led to goals in the first half (if we could finish better)?

Was this the same Cox who, after an admitted bad free kick came back out to him, sent in a perfect cross for Murray to head over from three yards? And with his left foot which people say he can't cross with?

Everyone's entitled to their opinion, but I do wonder what game people watch at times.

As crap as they were, the biggest joke was Fraser's attempt at a delivery after Cox had gone off.

Embarassing

I have seen Fraser put in some good deliveries though.

Cox can't actually generate any pace on the ball and I don't no why no one is given a chance, you can even see when he always cuts inside that he always stands his crosses up instead of whipping them in
