Does Dunk's Not Guilty verdict over the voyeurism still stand if there is a re-trial?

I would have thought so as that would be to undermine the jury and thus the justice system. Unless of course the alleged victim wishes to contend this in a court of appeal.

POINT OF ORDER: This is still a live case, so the rules set out earlier still stand.

Sorry if it's a bit obvious, but some people are speculating again.

I have several questions which currently leave me scratching my head, but here is not the place to put them.

Is the replay at the Old Bailey? Jury's Inn? The girl's house?

What?!

Does the prosecution press for a re-trial and the decision for a re-trial is then made by the CPS ?

Be interesting to know how long till a possible retrial starts. My case that had a retrial for some charges was over a year apart I think, no idea if this is the norm though

A re-trial is not automatic is it? Don't the CPS have to decide whether to go ahead or not?
Be interested to see where this leaves everyone. Nightmare.

The judge sets the deadline of next Friday for a retrial date to be fixed.

He bails the players until then, and dismisses the court.
