From the area, If you walk south passed Notts Forest City ground towards trent bridge cricket (about 300 metres) there are a few boozers (west Bridgeford).

Or, if its your thing, walk opp direction towards city, just on a right turn you will see a big 'hooters' bar and they have loads of football lot in there, as well as babes in football tops (about 200 metres).

I'm not sure if you'll get much of a sing song in the 'vat and fiddle' but it's a great pub0, mix of home and away fans and the castle rock brewery is adjoined, if you like a bit of ale that is.

It's less than one minute from the station, but don't turn right from station, the bendtnick is reet rough
