Had similar when some woman started gobbing off about some of their funds going to help prevent drowning in Bangladesh. I signed up for the monthly donation after that.

#metoo

It was on This Morning if I remember correctly. Then she went and ranted on about getting Brexit done for some reason.

Done. A fine cause at any time, heightened by the ramblings of the nation's favourite bigoted banker. Gift Aid a sweet bonus extra from our dog whistling government.

Interestingly, they were the first UK charity to accept Bitcoin, so if that's your bag:

Darren Grimes has been having a go and Farage has got annoyed accusing them of employing a PR firm (comparing it to Harry and Meg) to make their videos. They don't. It's their comms team.

As a result of his superb marketing of their work I've decided to make a regular gift rather than a single one.

I'm beginning to like Nigel Farage, he does a lot of fundraising for charities...

Excellent cause, staffed by selfless individuals who voluntarily put their own lives at risk to save others.

If it upsets the kind of people who do little with their time apart from throw around epithets like "woke", "virtue-signalling" or "snowflake", then that's just gravy

Already had a yearly DD set up,but just sent a bit more so I could feel better about myself . And tell everyone about it like everyone else on here.

North Stand Virtue Signalling Chat, got quite a ring to it.

Don't. The expected cavalry has stayed away from the thread so far.

Although maybe we could name one of the boats 'Nigel McFarage Face'

Done.
A cause close to my heart as my late Father, grandfather, great grandfather and all their brothers were members of the Eastbourne lifeboat crews.

Back in the late 70’s a work colleague of mine was on the Brighton lifeboat crew, as were a number of police officers. They would do their stuff and then go back to the John St police bar, get pissed, and then he’d drive back to Hurstpierpoint, where he lived, with a police escort so he wouldn't be pulled over.
