Agreed – and you thinking it’s a great sport don’t mean it necessarily is. It’s called having an opinion. We’re all entitled to them – even in America.

Pretty sure that Lyndhurst is English? Incidentally why are most American natives ignorant? Leaving aside the juvenile baiting on both sides speaking as a cricket loving ex-pat living in Florida I think 20/20 would have a good chance of taking off in the States if marketed properly. There are more amateur cricket leagues here than you might think and plenty of people orginally from cricket loving nations.

I am. You can’t beat a bit of juvenile baiting – it’s what makes NSC the great institution it is. Reasoned adult debate can get a bit boring sometimes! :smile:
 


During WW2, my dad was wicketkeeper for a Royal Navy team that played against the US Navy in a match in San Francisco. He broke his toe, when it got hit by a fast ball, and was given an official certificate to commemorate the war wound he had received in combat against a foreign enemy.
