I would boo Coppell just for fun. I actually think he did play a positive role for us last season. We got off to a flyer in terms of points (though we weren't playing well), & we had Leon Knight.

To be honest, I think it's become pretty clear from various sources that if Dick Knight wanted to keep Coppell he could have done. But the compensation paid was significant for a club in the position we're in. Dick backed himself to get the right man again - and he did. My take on the season is that we got a lot of compensation so we made 250k there, got a manager who has taken a team to the first division & stayed there - and we did it via the play-offs thus earning another 500k.

All in all, a tidy bit of business
