Steve Coppell was not at the Withdean yesterday, but a representative of Wise was. This comes from an old friend who was a guest of the chairman yesterday, and is high up in the Sussex FA.

He said it was part of Blooms attempt to forge closer links with the FA, as part of their Community programme. The old boy has kept in touch with Coppell from his days at bha.

what we are supposed to read in to that information, Coppel wasn't there and someone at BHA still has his number? meanwhile, someone who might just happen to know Wise and be involved in football was present?
