Coppell undecided on Royals post
Steve Coppell is still undecided on whether to take the vacant manager's job at Reading after seeing Brighton soar to the top of Division Two.
Two goals from Chris McPhee, following an own goal by Danny Coid saw the Seagulls beat Blackpool 3-0 on a day when all the talk was centred around the future of former Manchester United and England star Coppell.
He said: "I don't know what is going to happen now. Que sera sera.
"I'm a simple football manager who wants to get on with his trade. Like any manager, I am ambitious to test my skills at the highest level.
"I am torn - I've got a great thing going at Brighton and I haven't made up my mind. I haven't spoken to Reading since Thursday morning.
