It's from the Argus and it may have been tongue in cheek , it may mean nothing, but having misjudged him once before I won't be suprised to see him unsettling a couple of our players.

Coppell:

"I have spoken to Dick Knight and it was never mentioned that there was an embargo on Brighton players. Would I want them? Undoubtedly, there are some top players there, but that is not to say I am going to go poaching them"

I wouldn't swap the attitude of our players for virtually anyone in the country, even if some are better players than others, and obviously Coppell will have noticed that. I'd be amazed if he doesn't come back for someone. With all the management changes, incredible to think how many of the team Micky put together to win Div Three just keep doing it and showing amazing reserves of character in difficult circumstances.

That would really take the f***ing biscuit and compound my hate to him even more, possibly causing some strongly worded emails to the club secretary.

Well if he does try, I think most of our players would not go. Reading are a smaller club, and once Falmer is built we have far more potential. I belive the nucleus of Cullip, Hart, Mayo, Kipers, Otway and Jones, with Booker at the helm, have blue and white striped blood in them.

I reckon he might try to poach some of the young players like hinch

The one in most danger at present is Jake Robinson.

I hope he's got his professional contract on the table ready for his birthday
