Dorset Seagull

Once Dolphin, Now Seagull
The other thing I liked was that he clearly wanted to come over to the fans at the end but looked a bit sheepish like he hadn't earned the right yet to be one of us. He turned to Calde as his mentor and they came over together for a well earned love in!

Very quick with great vision and a fantastic touch. He made a few wayward passes but that was just ring rust. He is extremely quick at accelerating past his man and then always looks to play the best available pass or go for goal. He will be a team player and not a selfish individual who will probably nearly always make the correct decision on the ball.

I was VERY impressed

Agree completely with this. One of the wayward passes did lead to their first goal but he hasn't played a competitive match this season so he's not going to be perfect.

On the other hand, he looked a threat. Looking forward to after the international break (as missing Saturday), when Sami's had a chance to work on the team and we may even have another striker in. Even if we don't, Texeira, CMS and Colunga as a front three prompted by Holla, Gardner and Crofts/JFC looks really strong. And we'd still have KLL, Crofts/JFC, McCourt, O'Grady, Ince, Toko and then March, Stephens and Agustien when they return from injury. Front 6 is beginning to look impressive!
