Cooden Beach Hotel

Only been into the Hotel bar couple times, quite nice for an outside drink in summer overlooking beach, Graham Norton lives 200 metres along the road nice beach house in Herbrand Walk, pass on my regular cycling route.

Used to work there during my student days. Good times.

Was best man for a wedding there in the summer. Nice hotel, right on the beach, staff friendly and efficient, small swimming pool and decent sauna & Jacuzzi. Hearty breakfast. Bedroom was a potential death trap though, bed on one level, then ensuite bathroom down four or five stone steps. Not ideal for drunken stumblings in the dark, had the good sense to stick a heavy chair in front of the bathroom door so as to stop me breaking my neck.

I lived near Cooden and my brother worked at that hotel for a while.

Also Gary Glitters song writer lived near us however I suppose in the light of recent events perhaps that is not something that good now.

Hahaha!, It would an easier journey!, I did try and move us to Bexhill first but the Dragon was having none of it!, cooden would be nice when I retire and win the lottery in the same week
