Peter Taylor signed Daniel Webb, and Junior Lewis who I thought was crap tho some folk rated, signed Wayne Gray. Think he signed Phil Hadland as well. Did we sign Phil Hadland? Memory is awful these days

As much as I love King Micky and I won't hear a bad word said about him, the first season at Withdean I'd put his success rate at below 50%. We had a lot of rubbish that year. Fortunately we had a handful of decent ones too, and when Bobby and Carpenter were added we tore it up.

I think thats right. it took two summers to get that squad together, not forgetting that Cullip and Brooker were added during his first full season aswell. You could argue that after we won promotion form the third the only really successful addition he made to the squad was Morgan.
