I must have been watching a different game then, as I thought he was pretty good in a very high pressure situation.

Could have let that game descend into chaos but he kept control.

It did descend into chaos at times. Thought the Wednesday players showed a lot of composure and dignity in the face of the physical assault that Palace seemed to get away with. Derry in particular should have got a red card.

Absolutely. He didn't get much wrong and I don't understand that first post to be honest. The Calvin Andrew booking and the Shaun Derry clash of hands were both correct decisions and he at least tried to let the game flow, although some might argue he let stuff go from both sides.

The Andrew high boot on Grant looked ugly but was a yellow card offence.

Derry's arms were flailing a bit but I'm pretty sure the two cuts were actually caused by clashes of heads. The only Palace player I'm convinced got away with a lot was Alan Lee.

He's one of the best refs around and I thought he did OK today. What did he do wrong? Weds were crap and couldn't defend against Gully's Girls, you cant blame the ref for that.
