SAKE.

why does everyone care so deeply about the election of a foreign leader? Its actually quite funny really, cause you'll all probably vote for Blair when our election comes about.

Playing devil's advocate but there are so many people on this thread absolutely livid with the 'inbred fuckwits' for having re-elected this 'oil-obsessed corrupt war criminal ... haven't you people seen Fahrenheit 9/11 cos it's all true etc etc'.

Step back and ask yourself these questions and please answer honestly...

1) Did you vote Labour at the last election?

2) Do you think the Americans should have elected Kerry to get rid of Bush because of the invasion of Iraq?

3) If yes to 2, does it not follow logically that you want the British electorate to get rid of Tony Blair in view of this country's role in the invasion of Iraq?

4) Let's assume that the Conservative party has the best chance of beating Labour in the next election ... will you vote Conservative and elect Michael Howard as this country's next Prime Minister?

If you answer yes to 1 & 2, I'm really quite intrigued as to how you answer 3 & 4.

1. No
2. Yes
3. Yes
4. No

Howard also supported the war and Blair will go the same way as Thatcher and be dumped by his own party when he is seen as more as a liability than an asset.

Labour have lost everyone's trust, no one under 60 votes for the Tories anymore so at the next election (the first time I will vote), I will definitely be voting Liberal Democrats. Why do people consider them so unelectable?

Because they have no credible policies, cant maintain a consistant stance on any issue within their own party and believe they can solve all the ills of the country by adding 1p to income tax.

AD - I do not think we should go into Iran or North Korea at this moment in time. Bush needs to resolve the Palestinian problem and start to resolve the problems between Palestine and Israel where most of the arab discontent and ignition for terrorism has started.

Bloody good questions...... my answers..

1) Didn't vote... been Labour all my life but Blair is a turncoat.
2) Partly yes
3) Partly yes
4) No because Howard wouldn't get us out fo Iraq..... his idea of the world is the same as Bush's. My choices are stark.... a wasted vote on the LibDems(and please no one try to convince me otherwise) or no vote at all.
