Just got back after the M25 mayhem and i must say you thoroughly deserved that win. We failed to convert a hatful of chances and paid the price.

This defeat really sticks in my throat as many of my mates are Brighton.

Well done guys, your support was top notch and ours was shite. Think i timed it at 52 mins before we put a half hearted song together.

You deserved all 3 points. Hope you enjoyed your day a bit more than i did.

Thanks mate, if you'd scored in about the 2nd minute when you hit the post you would have mullered us big time.

But football does this to you - have to say your fans were very hostile towards your team by the end.

Our fans tend to get on the players backs all the time rather than cheering them on. It was like a morgue in the Boleyn today (from home support)

Didn't attend the match but got to give a big thumbs up to our fans yet again, people criticise our ground and our atmosphere but on our travels we are the best at creating atmosphere.

Really thought we was going to get a hiding today but it turns out to be yet another smash and grab job. i don't care if we continue to be thieves as long as we bring the 3 points back to sunny Sussex.

All the best mate.

Terrace.

There seemed precious little atmosphere from your lot.

Perhaps the fans were deflated as you'd so many chances and not scored ?

No m8...Upton Park is starting to get a name for being quiet. The good old days of an intimidating atmosphere has long gone. :(

Must admit jevs m8 i was really surprised at the lack of noise from the home fans. I know we get carried away sometimes, but i really thought we'd be in for an cracking atmosphere with plenty of chants between the two sets of fans.

I remember our last two away games at Upton Park at the start of the 1990s. The first you mullered us after we had scored (Garry Nelson), the second was much closer (I think Tony Gale got the winner - an all time favourite player of mine). The atmosphere at those two games was incredible. The sound seemed to echo from the North Bank and the South Bank next to us seemed to be just as loud, and we were singing our heads off too. What has happened to the atmosphere there? Only the Bobby Moore Stand lower seems to sing, the rest are quiet. Is it that the ground is all-seater or that the away fans get so much of the lower tier at the other end?
