Mattock was still at their training ground 3 hours ago, so unless the club announce that its agreed before they've actually signed, it'll be awhile yet before we hear anything as they need to get down to the Amex.

No they don't have too, but it would be normal procedure, have a medical etc, as often we agree to pay for the loans and pay wages, so it's often subject to the normal bits and bobs that need to get done.

Albion are signing West Brom fullbacks Gonzalo Jara Reyes and Joe Mattock on loan.

Chilean international right-back Jara Reyes was borrowed by the Seagulls earlier in the season.

Mattock, a left-back, is joining him at The Amex after West Brom completed the capture of Liam Ridgewell from Birmingham.

Word is Mattock has signed as he has a full driving licence, good move Gus save on cab fares.

Just what we need I think, it's a shame Hoskins is off to Shef. Utd. However, I think that'll be good for him to get a good run there, slot some goals and come back to us for next season. I like Hoskins, and sure as hell hope he remains in the blue and white stripes for a while.

But a right/left back sounds just perfect, and I honestly cannot wait to see these guys in action.
