Computer Question

I would be very grateful if anyone could help with my predicament

The audio from my speakers appears to be a bit dodgy ever since i installed a webcam for my computer. Two things are the problem:

1) When i am playing audio (e.g. a video on youtube for example), if i were to click the back button or another hyperlink to come off the page, the audio sticks and makes a crappy noise until another sound is played.

2) Everytime a sound is actually played, it makes a little crackling noise before it plays

I thought the problem may be to do with the configuration settings for the audio of the webcam, but thought i would see if anyone knew anything

Thank you for your time :)

(and yes, even if i turn off the computer and turn it on again, it still happens ;) )

Try uninstalling the webcam software, checking the audio, and the re-installing the webcam.

Maybe the audio driver needs updating after conflicting with the webcam one. Go to the manufacturers site (of your sound card) and see if you can get an update
