Computer help needed

Doos anyone kno how to get the telly thing wrking so I can usse my computer. There sumthing whirring inside the box ting on the floor, probably the motor or somthing, so that seems to b ok. However, theres nothing on the telly. Theres usually a ligt on the front and lots of bright colurs on the screen but today it all black. Any ideas?
I tiping this blind coz the telly ain't working so hope the message gets throgh ok. HELP!

Try the plug at the wall or do you have a power cut?? This is a well known solution from many a helpdesk.

Alternatively, Computer says no!
