Complete anger re yesterday

Re Burnley, Has anyone else gone through this progression of disappointment at the first red card, to the resignation of the second , to the almost euphoria of the magnificent rearguard action which followed, and THEN the complete anger which follows after considering the referee's performance

Two positives though, firstly the way the way the support and the remaining nine responded to the situation, and , I cannot imagine anything better, because, all were heros, especially the remaining nine though we, as fans, did brilliantly.

Albion were victors despite losing all three points.

Surely some sort of measurement of match officials' performance should be introduced as it is not just the results of OUR team which is being screwed by these (some) w----rs.

Do we start an e mail vendetta on the FA or what do you think should happen.

Yeah, no what you mean. I commute from Bristol so had 5 hour round trip to watch five minutes of fair football. The rearguard was heroic but match was ruined by two sendings off.

I slightly disagree that it is all ref's fault - the challenge from Barnes on McCann was undoubtedly clumsy more than mailcious but it was pretty bad - I would have apoplectic if it had been the other way round and McCann stayed on. My disagreement with ref is for not sending McCann off too for the throat grabbing retaliation.

We don't really know what happened with Vincelot. He may have been stupid. Probalby harsh as ref did not see incident himself but diffciult to say without video evidence.

Lets Do it, let's make our feelings heard. Let's show the FA that we are Brighton, NO longer a small club in the lower leagues....

There is no accountability, he'll just get bumped back to L1 or L2 until the furore dies down, if that.
Another annoying thing is that there was hardly any mention of the first red on the football league show and after all the threads/posts since we are still none the wiser.
Surely the very least that twat should do is come out and tell the thousands of fans that paid good money exactly why Vincelot was sent off. Just to say violent conduct is not good enough.
I agree though that the 9 players one and all were heroes, a performance that galvanised everyone and will be remembered for a very long time.
Vincelot on the other hand if he is guilty of punching someone should come out and apologise

I agree, it is so frustrating that we cannot see any worthwhile images of the game on eg FLS, and despite having attended, due to the inability to see given the numbers standing up.

Vincelot punched the Burnley player in the ribs, I saw it from WSU, if you have a pop and its seen by any of the officials your going to get sent off!! dont get me wrong I was as frustrated and dissapointed as everyone else!! but thats what happens! if it had been a Burnley player throwing the punch we would have all been screaming for him to be red carded.
