Watch carefully at the advert. The price is 50% or even 75% off AFTER EVENT PRICE. In other words the items are brand new, never sold before, and in 60 days will go up to the shown price. They have never been sold at the higher price as they are all new to their stores. You have to be realistic. If you need a sofa take a look at the price but forget any 'after event' or 'sale price'.
I note that Carpet Right now do not have any sales as I pass their shop every day. They would have 50% off plus a further 10% off but haven't for around a year.

I haven't, so there's no need to apologise to me, but I'd be surprised if nobody on this forum has bought one recently and are probably quite pleased with it. Sadly it's just the way things go these days, people are always willing to tell everyone else how bad their stuff is, whether it be cars, phones, tablets, sofas. Live and let live.
