Here are two that annoy me.

People never use the correct grammar when talking about years:
The 1980s are always wrongly spelt 1980's, or 80's. WRONG - either use 1980s or '80s (to indicate shortening). And strictly speaking the word phone should be spelt with a preceeding apostrophe - 'phone.

Another one - people who say "you have two choices" when they usually mean "you have a choice" or "you have two options". *grrr*

Bias is one that gets me. I have one mate who always uses the word biased instead, like it's spelled biast.

We all know that referees are biased (adj.) ...which means that they demonstrate bias (n.)

The same friend also has a 'prejudist' against, among other things, football supporters!
