There's no way the greedy six will be booted out of the EPL as the advertisers/sponsors for the TV Broadcasters would go apesh8t and withdraw their sponsporship. Not to mention the broadcasters re-engaging on the broadcasting fees distributed to the the remaining clubs.

This is exactly what happened recently since Project restart. The 'product' was not deemed to be "not" contractually the same without fans at the ground and consequently Sky/BT/Overseas TV broadcasters decided to pay the Premier clubs substantially less than what was previously agreed.

Hence, the tightening of the belts at BHAFC towers. This would put the fourteen clubs in a similar if not, far worse financial situation, should the six be kicked out - unfortunately.

Whatever belt-tightening will occur with the 14 it is nothing compared to the belt-tightening that the 72 have had to endure.

As for the sponsors, they will have the option of continuing sponsoring the EPL or the new option of sponsoring the ESL.

Even without the Super Six, the EPL will still arguably be the strongest domestic league in the world (albeit somewhat closer to the Bundesliga and Ligue 1). La Liga and Serie A without their Top 3 will be severely weakened, AND there are still 8 more teams for this ESL league to find.

Totally, but the meeting of the 14 does not involve the EFL, or even Non League Football. Of course, the domino effects of the creation of the ESL affects football everywhere.

The sponsors will move to where the best players/clubs are - which won't be the EPL.

Anyway, the point is that the meeting today is unlikely, as Alan Shearer suggested, to throw a grenade back to the ESL, as it would be like Turkeys voting for Xmas as the big six are key to the high broadcasting/sponsorship fees.
