Shelbourne FC, the team whos bar we occupied to watch the playoff legs, have the second leg of their third round Champions League qualifier tonight.

A victory or a score draw will put them through, the first Irish club to ever get the group stages. They did hold Deportivo 0-0 at Lansdowne, but it's going to be way way harder to get one past them in Spain.

It should be noted that based on the Eircom leagues form, this is like the Albion being on the cusp of getting into the Champions League.

Anyone who can see this match, watch it. Could be good.

Despite Depor being our 'twin' Spanish team, i'm gonna have to root for Shels tonight. :drink:

Although i have to be honest i fear a mighty spanking is coming their way..:nono:

I dont support Depor I just make a point of wanting Irish, Scottish and Welsh teams to all get soundly thrashed in these games. Its no more than the majority of them wish on us.

I used to not care about it. I used to laugh at their pathetic jealously. I still laugh but I also now laugh when they lose as well.

In what way? How am I being ignorant? I'm not the one calling for a team to get beaten solely on the grounds of stereotypes, assumptions and bigotry. You are.

Then again, as someone who has nearly fourteen hundred posts on a message board of a club he doesn't support, and who aren't even close to the division his club are in, it seems you have some "problems"

Three months ago, I watched a different time, playing in Blue and White go 2-0 down on the day, from the bar in Shelbournes ground. We all know what happened there....

Heres hoping a similar situation will happen, except for the team in red this time

Oh, and the Shels manager has been sent off....
