strangely sensible post
I love Torres. He's a great player of the game we know as football. He seems to have everything.
I hope Liverpool win.

Just like an Italian team then?
Yeah! That’s the typical stereotyping I was expecting.![]()
Blatantly not true is it?I want Liverpool to win, and always support English (and British) teams in Europe, even Man Utd.
As for cheating, the English teasm cheat far less IMO, than the likes of the Spanish, Portugese, Italians etc.
I would rather an honest team wins it than a team that goes around diving everywhere, always asking for a penalty, and getting an Inter player sent off, just to improve their chances.
An English team may win it with 3/4 in the last 8, just hope it isn't Cheaterpool or Manc United
So Italian teams aren't renowned for cheating in exactly the way you described? If anyone's theit's you for coming up with such a piss poor reason for wanting the Italians to win.
Blatantly not true is it?
Even if the notion that cheating is purely because of 'foreigners' is true, these teams are all packed full of Spanish, Portugese, and others, and managed by foreign coaches. But if you look at the few English players on show, many of them do dive. Joe Cole, Wayne Rooney, Steven Gerrard. It might not get highlighted in the press the way it would if it was Ronaldo but they cheat too...
Personally I don't go in for this support the English clubs stuff, not anymore anyway. The Champions League club are only concerned with making money (to pay their leveraged American owners debts) for themselves, why would I want to support that?
Che?
That was my first post in this thread you TWAT!!!
Check who you quoted first time around.
All I was saying is that because they've done it in the past doesn't mean that it is always the case. Hence the "typical stereotyping" I was referring to. Beside's, Inter have more Argentinians than Italians in their squad, just like Liverpool with Spanish to English. (May be a bit harsh this season, but they were last)
And I'm sure you will be watching with a neutral and unprejudiced eye.It seems I am aTWAT
and a
so I guess it's ok for me to predict that the Italian side will be looking to cheat the ref more than Liverpool?
And I'm sure you will be watching with a neutral and unprejudiced eye.
Besides, your dislike of Italians will not be proved or disproved by that, the only Italian in the Inter squad is likely to be the sub keeper.
I think you can apply that to pretty much any team in the world Kinky, its hardly a uniquely english trait is it.
Frankly I could not give a hoot. Arsenal play great football but no anmes there mean jack to me. Same with the whole Premiership - rubbish from top top bottom with no identity to cities or towns any more.
I mean for christs sake Derby paying Lauren RObert 18k per week sums up everything about that league.
plastic crap. The Mcdonals of ENglish football. I'd rather watch Crowborough Athletic on a Wednesday night than pay any money to the Premier league.
Scudamore - wazzock.
Now you know why your bed was pulled away from the wallI do quite a lot thanks.
R M Taylor only lives in Grimsby , he was born in the RSCH. There is a supporters coach for Liverpool fans which leaves Grimsby from the pub around the corner from where we live every time the mickey mousers are playing. Why do Grimsby hate Liverpool?
