Nothing to lose? Who are you trying to kid. Defeat to Palace in the play-offs would be any Albion fans worst nightmare and vise-versa.

I don't know even making it into the playoffs would be a significant step forward for us having only been in the league for 2 seasons. I'd be gutted to lose to Palace but pretty happy overall as a sign of progress and intent. We have to recognise that you've been in this league for a long time whilst we are still trying to make an impact.

I agree in a way but you were predicted by most to be up near the top this year, we were many's tip for relegation given the sales of Ambrose, Gardner, Scannell and Clyne. Whilst neither side would go into the play-offs under any real pressure (say compared to big spenders Leicester or Hull) defeat to their main rivals would still be a big blow that could take a long time to heal.

Said it all along, it doesn't matter whether we finish 3rd or 6th. Let's face it, we're not going to make the automatic places. But as long as we can sneak 6th place we're in with a shout. The play-offs are by and large a lottery, so we have a one in four chance even if the 3rd place club finished way ahead of us.

Only 2 points off and playing hull Tuesday night stranger things have happen

Wolves have to win sometime, Watford have to lose sometime

If Palace finish 3rd and us 6th and we beat you over two legs you'll still boast you were better than us

Isn't it fantastic? Hand over the cash for Dobbie you mugs.:clap::clap:

Not sure what you've got to be so gleeful about? He scored what proved to be the winning goal in our win vs Bristol City 2 weeks ago, those 3 points could be the difference between Championship and Premiership football for us next year. He's been hit and miss for us, some games he's shown real quality, others like last night, not so. But the guy has obvious class when played correctly, he never got that chance with you as Gus couldn't fit him into your system.

The funny thing is he in theory should be perfect for our system. What went wrong heaven only knows, as he is quick with his feet, calm under pressure. He showed in patches his talent, but there were a lot of missed chances too. Gus bases a lot of judgement on attitude and application in training, and perhaps Dobbie never bust a gut there. It is a mystery.

No Grimbo, that's the sort of thing i'd expect from you and The Major.

Only when we beat you in the semis and go on to win at Wembley but will that happen ?

and very UNDERATED imo, class player, would love to have him at brighton.

£300k for a winger not good enough to make the bench for Bristol City. One of my good friends writes an Argyle fanzine & when I said we'd signed him he said we'd been conned. As an Argyle player he was described as "League One at best"

Bargain.

We've had a couple of good 'uns from Argyle ourselves.
