Colin Kazim-Richards should have played today

Was going to make this point as soon as the team was annouced, so I'm not saying if he had played the result would have been any different.

HOWEVER, there is no doubt that he is an extremely talented player, and certainly a better option as a lone forward than Gary Hart, who's not been any good as a striker since about 1999.

I don't give a f*** about personal issues within the club, and they definitely shouldn't have a detrimental effect on the team. Whatever beef McGhee might have with the bloke, he should be a bit more professional, and pick a team based on their ability to do a job.

I'm in no way anti-McGhee, but the constant fallings-out with players and the knock-on effect they have on the side are beginning to piss me off.

Being moody and slapping in transfer requests is not the best way to get a game I wouldn't have thought

I was there and don't think CKR would have made any difference, unless he's developped as an aerial threat/holding up stiker over the summer. Hart did well.

Let CKR prove himself in the reserves first by scoring a shitload of goals. Oh, yeah, and maybe learning how to challenge in the air with a view to actually winning the ball. And maybe he could cure himself of that petulant arm-waving thing while he's at it.

'Til then he's just a bloke we won in a raffle

No he shouldn't, he has got Leon "throw all toys out of pram and act like a petulant child"Knight disease. Let him rot in the reserves. I dont think he is worty of wearing the stripes if he continues to act the way he is.

same reason he didn't want to play at Bury probably. Try twisting that one into your blame culture ;)

I don't really blame anyone. I just wish that CKR and McGhee could bury their respective differances for the good of the team. The continuous stream of fall-outs with the manager are, however, beginning to be worrying, even for those with rose- tinted specs.

:)

He absolutely wants to play for us. He virtually begged to play in the reserves last week and was denied the right.

He thinks he is bigger than us and wants a move to a bigger team. I'm very pro ckr but feel that is a fact.

Whilst I respect your opinion, it's certainly not a fact. It's also untrue that he thinks he is bigger than us, or (at this stage in his career) that he wants a move to a bigger team.

He should be in the squad for Wednesday or he might as well leave. :(

I certainly hope you are right, I feel he could have a big future with us and then move on.

I would love that to be the case.. do the business for us, and then fulfil the obvious top class potential
