Has anyone noticed how all the fame has gone to their head. That Chris Martin is a tosser! Poking his nose into American politics whilst giving his grammy acceptance speech (who DOES he think he is)

He reminds me of Jay Kay, a jumped up little W**ker - just because he got lucky and is going out with Paltrow he thinks its okay to beat up photographers and thinks he is entitled to privacy when he openly courts attention.

Martin- Tosser.

Quite like the music...but think he's a tosser.

And the way he tries to be Mr Controversial gets on my tits because he's shit at it.

I like the music, I even agree with the sentiment of what he said, but I agree he's a tosser. Just 'cos he can belt out a few songs doesn't make him a social or political commentator.

YAY my kind of thread! "I hate coldplay and I hate coldplay, I hate coldplay and I hate coldplay, I hate coldplay and I hate coldplay, I AM THE COLDPLAY...HATER"

agree they are wankers, agree their music sucks, agree that more people have jumped off beachy head listening to their drivel on their walkmans!

He's at it again (from Skynews):

HAS CHRIS SNAPPED AGAIN?

Coldplay frontman Chris Martin has been accused of attacking another photographer.

The singer allegedly kicked out at Alessandro Copetti as he and wife Gwyneth Paltrow left a London restaurant.

"He kicked me from behind and I crashed to the ground," the 34-year-old photographer said.

"It was stupid, dangerous and violent.

"He seems to think it is OK for him to be violent to photographers because he is a celebrity."

Copetti has made a formal complaint to police about the alleged incident.

A spokesman for Martin said the photographer had been "aggressive" and had tripped as he ran after the couple's cab.

Martin had confrontations with photographers in both London and Australia last year.

Sorry lads, have to disagree with most of this thread coz-

Met him once and he was really sound (yeah i know this doesnt mean he cant be a twat sometimes). I'm also a great believer in using your fame for good causes and trying to be a good role-model to other people. He's standing up for what he believes in, and i think thats very admirable. Its about time someone (semi)famous was brave enough to speak out against the US and its policies.

Dunno about these stories of further journalist beatings, hadnt heard till now. I'd bet he wasnt doing it from a prima donna point of view- in my line of work i deal with alot of journos, most of whom are fine, but some of them can be right annoying b*stards sometimes.

I think theyre hideously overated and he's a bit of a nonce really isnt he

what amazes me is how pathetic photographers seem to be . . .if you kicked me up the arse I'd rum my zoom up your arse and knock his front teeth out . . .that'd look good on TV wouldnt it :lolol: all they seem to do is go squeeling to the rest of their press mates.

its all a load of bollocks really

What a ridiculous comment. Mercenary twats like him hound people 24/7 and think they don't deserve any payback. The sooner upstanding citizens like Chris Martin and Liam Gallagher get knighted for services rendered to paparazzi photographers the better.

For the record, Coldplay's music is bland, middle of the road shite, and no, that's not IMHO, it's a fact.

what surprises me is that he doesn't exactly look big enough to start knocking hacks about after he's had a beer or three. if he carries on doing that i think we can all look forward to pictures of some paperazzi breaking his nose just like the jay kay idiot. in which case i'm all for his aggressive actions!

Coldplay are this years Travis IMHO. Well, okay I'm no fan of wimp rock. I guess that now our Chris is shagging Gwyneth Plowtrow (or whatever her name is) he reckon's he's more than a minor player.

He's entitled to his opinions however and if somebody wants to publish them then why not ? Whether you agree is another matter. I just don't like Coldplay's music, Chris Martin's poliitics are no reflection on the band although I think they're both crap !

I like coldplay, chris martin does a hell of alot for fairtrade and i respect him for that.

evrybody has fights sometimes in their lives don't they? give him a break! and these photographers need to give him a break too can't he just go out for a meal wiv his wife?!
enough said! :)

Coldplay are utter shite, no question about it. But what's all this crap about 'sticking his nose into politics'? Is he not allowed to have a political opinion and express it just cuz he's famous? That's just ridiculous.
