Cold Pizza sandwich?

It brings to mind my unease with a) chip butties and b) chips in pitta. I remain to be convinced that anything particularly carb-laded deserves to be within two pieces of bread.

Actually as you put it like that I take it back. It might be because it's lunchtime, but I will admit to having enjoyed the odd chip sandwich.

But I'm still not sold on COLD pizza sandwiches.

During my exile in the North (Wigan & Manchester) I scoffed Pies between Barm cakes (bread roll) oh so lovely...

It kinda got out of control when I found myself not only putting pizza between the slabs of bread but even fried rice or chicken chow mein all with mayo....

my dream is currently a chimichanga sandwich with loads of mayo....

They are special treats i am not in a mobility scooter and weigh less than your average heifer lump.

As far as I'm concerned, if it fits between two slices of bread, then you can make a sandwich with it. I regularly eat steak and kidney pie sandwiches, crisp sandwiches etc., I won't eat anything sweet in bread though, we were forced to eat banana sandwiches when I was a kid, every Saturday for tea like clockwork, for years! Banana sandwiches are so wrong!

Banana sandwiches with brown wholemeal are delicious.
