Very odd if P do sell Craig Mackail Smith at this stage and odd of Norwich to buy him then not use him in their promotion push. But the window is closed. So only likely option is for P to loan him to Norwich I guess.

Alternative could be they buy him in some way and lend him to back to P until the end of the season - but the window is shut. Out of contract players can move anytime. Contract terminated by mutual agreement perhaps?

This makes a mockery of the whole transfer window.

Being able to loan a player with 12 games to go with a perm deal coming in the summer.

Posh would be mad to do this! Fergie jnr will prob chuck his dummy out and move on.

Goes to show that Norwich were really taking the piss with their bid for Benno if they want to shell out £3M for CMS.

If Peterbro agreed it it would be good for all of the teams in Div 1 except them, on the field, biut good for the board room. Can Norwich or similar sign Lallano instead of Bennett on loan with option to buy in the summer and also offer Lambert.

Had to laugh.
Posh have split the highlights for Saturday's tonking of Carlisle into two seperate vids - one for each half. Value for money!

I reckon CMS is worth every penny of that,he is different class.

We thought that about Peter Ward and Boby Zamora and BOTH struggled to settle and make an impact in top flight football.

I reckon about £3m for a lower division fee scoring striker is about right in his present form. Mind you needs a decent team to make him look good.

BTW does this mean that Norwich are starting to plan for a Holt free future?
