Stop people like Peter Risdale being allowed to take over at Barnsley after nearly putting Leeds out of business.

To re-iterate

In 1997, Graham Kelly, then Chief Exec of the FA agreed that it would seek to ensure that only "right and proper people" be allowed to run football clubs in the future. That was after our debacle with Bellotti, Archer and Stanley.

But nothing has changed.

We must also seek a better redistribution of SKY TV money and that will involve hard bargaining with SKY, the Government and the Premiership ....

I don't want to get bogged down in debate here - the matter has been discussed to death elsewhere - but the organisational and management structure of both the FA (the ruling body) and the Football League has not altered in decades - not since Jimmy Hill argued against the minimum wage in the early 1960s - both bodies need to act to protect the interests of ALL clubs - not just the headline makers ... it requires new guidelines. legislation and power to enforce punishment on those who transgress - just as they do already if a manager or player steps out of line!

But the FA doesn't protect the headline makers either. Look at what's happening at Leeds.

I would agree 100% that the TV money should be more equally distributed amongst the clubs, and no doubt there are other changes to the financial structure of the game that would have a positive effect on all of the League's clubs. But what are you actually talking about when you say there should be legislation and power to enforce punishment on those who transgress?

Q: What do you want the FA to do?
A: Stop nasty people taking over football clubs

Q: Why should we wear red on "clubs in crisis day"?
A: ?

Well that's cleared that up then.

We are talking with police about doing away with segregation for this match so that Wrexham, Brighton and other fans can stand in the away end with Donny fans and vice versa ...

thought I should add: received an email fo support from the mighty Arsenal last night:

"Thank you for contacting the Club.

I have passed your email on to our programme editor who has indicated to me that we are looking to give this some coverage in our matchday programme for this weekends fixture against Newcastle, although this does depend on space allowance, so if it turns out not to be possible for this week then we do apologise but we may be able to put it in our next programme.

Please feel free to contact me next week, I will be happy to send you a copy of the programme for your records if it was able to be included.

Kind regards,

Julia Wall-Clarke
Arsenal FC"
