Club Shop Closed Today

Went shopping in Brighton today for the first time in ages (9 months+) and was really surpriseed to see the shop with the shutters down closed for business.

Bank holiday monday, the town was packed and every single other shop was open and seemingly doing a roaring trade. Churchill Square was heaving.

I'd of probably spent a good few quid in there today and I'm sure I'm not alone. Really annoying as wanted to try a couple of shirts on my kids and don't know when I'll get back into Brighton.

Someone went to get my ticket for me and it was shut now dont know if i can ring them up tomorrow and maybe get them to keep a ticket for me for wednesday?

Think they are shut for staff training on the new swipe cards. Read it somewhere, only shut for the morning i think.

We went around 1.30pm and shut, no notice with any reasoning. 2 days before a home game as well!

Why would they have staff training on the swipe cards when they have already been in use for 2 home games? Besides its hardly rocket science?

I tried to buy one online today, but it kept messing up whenever i tried to confirm my purchase, but once you've bought one you can pick it up at the ground before the game. Or are you still to buy one?

You can normally ring up and buy your ticket and if it's too late to be sent out to you they will leave it at the ticket collection point at withdean so you can pick it up before the match.

Went in ticket office on Saturday to get JPT tickets as could not get the U16 deal online and although they did serve us, we were told off for coming in on a match day to get tickets for another game, as 'we are very busy on match days', my mate and I looked at each other and then looked around and we were the only people at the ticket window ?, think sometimes we need to be a bit more customer friendly, or at least get the online ticket service working a bit better.
