100% it needs to remember who the hardcore of fans are. When we get relegated (we will one day) it wont be the tourist fans still turning up to watch us play Barnsley (other unattractive northern sides are available) in the middle of the winter.This. Club's increasingly over-stepping the mark. As the saying goes, you should be careful how you treat people on your way up, as you will encounter the same people on your way down
He's closer to Man Utd than many. We've got fans who are more than 25 miles from the Amex! He's from Northwich. Should be down there not living it up in Old Trafford the glory hunting twat.
Yes I'm North Kent but Brighton born and bred. He's closer to Man Utd than many. We've got fans who are more than 25 miles from the Amex!
Jesus if we had to support our closest club I’d be a Millwall fan! He's closer to Man Utd than many. We've got fans who are more than 25 miles from the Amex!
Exactly ... and the article only says he lives in Northwich, not that he was born there. Possibly born closer to OT. But irrelevant really when someone has supported a team for that long including being in the same seat for 45 years. Hardly a 'glory hunting twat'.He's closer to Man Utd than many. I may be doing him a disservice but I'm wondering if Chappers misread that as Norwich!!Exactly ... and the article only says he lives in Northwich, not that he was born there. I guess what i was saying is if the machine read his ticket to let him in then surely that is logged somewhere in the machine....Machines make mistakes, as proven earlier in this thread when someone got an email from the club for not attending an away game, for which he'd bought a ticket.
He did attend the game but had to prove it to the club.
Nobody minds the club checking attendance, but, as said before, the tone needed to be changed to stop fans feeling like truants from school.
I would be a Brentford fan how fecking boring would that be. At least you see the odd punch upJesus if we had to support our closest club I’d be a Millwall fan!
No, no it wasn't.
Pre-pandemic there was a waiting list each season, of various sizes.
As is the case with many things the post-Covid situation looks a bit different.
These people weren't making it up:
[Albion] - Season Ticket Waiting List
Is there anyway to see what position I'm in? When I log in to my account I can't find any info on my position. I've only been on since last August - but just curious to know what chance I have of getting a season ticket for next year. Cheers.www.northstandchat.com
Not everyone with with a season ticket wants to or can go to every game !!Not everyone who wants to go to a game wants a season ticket
Um, yeah. we knowNot everyone with with a season ticket wants to or can go to every game !!
And then it vanishedIt did exist, many thousand long, those queuing moved up about 1,500 places per close season. I was in it.
Didn’t they effectively say that every A+ member was on the waiting list at one point ? One way of fudging the numbers…….And then it vanished
Was it really real![]()
That was the con well not really a con I suppose you had to be an Albion plus member to be on the list. I still make use of my Albion pen & wash bag so all good.Didn’t they effectively say that every A+ member was on the waiting list at one point ? One way of fudging the numbers…….
I can understand the second half of that statement but surely a STH 'wants' to go to every game? Not everyone with with a season ticket wants to or can go to every game !!
I want to go to every game but I don’t want to go to ridiculously scheduled matches where the travel arrangements are rubbish and I don’t get home for ages.I can understand the second half of that statement but surely a STH 'wants' to go to every game?
Most of my mates think the club are a bit Barry BigBollocks on this matter. Whilst they might be accommodating to those with illness, if you’re working abroad, travelling etc for a period and it will be a struggle to get to home games in person (but you’ll still pay for your ST) then will they be accommodating?Yes. I know how it works ! But compared to the alternative you're suggesting...
