See Chappers/Mine/other peoples mentioned places further up the thread. If theres more than 7-8 people on Friday then I suggest you break up ito teams and spend an hour in different locations with a main team located on or near the Clock Tower with backup supplies of leaflets.

No being an "old-hander" at leafletting 
, I would just add one other observation - the advantage of the Clock Tower is that you have a captive audience to an extent - people have to stop and wait for the pedestrian lights to turn green. Hence, an opportunity to start talking. This may not be so easy at other sites - just something to bear in mind.
