A nice bit of South London
The only answer is:

"One man went to blow,
Went to blow up Selhurst,
One man and his atom bomb,
Went to blow up Selhurst!

Two men went to blow .... Etc"

To the tune of "one man went to mow" from the nursery rhymn

But not with the original ending:
Going down Old Shoreham Road
To see Pat Saward's Aces

He was a hard done by manager - no transfer budget. Soon as he went the money mysteriously reappeared.

Here is one that is sung today, but wrongly:

Na na na na, na na na na, hey hey hey, Brighton

(and not . . . . Britonnovealbion - doesn't bloody scan! Kids today . . . cah!)

How many Quinns are there? (Expecting someone to say five) I was singing about Micky Quinn who was born in Liverpool.
..... Honest!

I always imagined it was Niall. His career overlapped with Zamora as he didn't retire until 2002. However Micky retired in 1996.

Anyone remember Micky Quinn giving two fingers to the north after scoring a penalty for pompey?

I think you were on your own there. Young Ezekiel only played 9 games.

If we are talking about Zeke Rowe he scored a STUNNING goal against Rushden and Diamonds

I had a wee tear in my eye when the refrain of, 'Brighton are back, Brighton are back...', went up at the first league game at the Amex in August 2011  Will stay with me forever and a day!

Same here. Is there a recording anywhere, would be good to hear that again. Think the club missed a real trick not having more of the build up atmosphere on the 2011/12 season highlights dvd.

Classic. Remember him in front of the north stand at the Goldstone

As a wet behind the ears school kid, I thought it was HILARIOUS that we were belting out a song aimed at a copper!

I miss the humour of the North Stand whistling the Laurel and Hardy theme tune every time the police marched in.

I'm not understanding this one. Can somebody enlighten me?

Didn't we used to burst into "the bill, it's just like watching the bill" afterwards?
