He is young and it must have been awful for him. Don't you think a Brighton player with, hopefully, a bright future ahead of him deserves a reaction from the fans when he leaves the pitch?

Incidentally, I missed the Ingimarrson elbow. Was that a red card offence?

I was right infront of the elbow incident, it did look a red card offence.

I had a good view of and it did look like a red card.but the ref was intimidated by the home crowd

Not surprised, he could have been injured if the Reading fans had started throwing their copies of the Daily Mail at him, or had started singing instead of asking each other "Which team is Chelsea?"

I remember Jamie Moralee getting sent off at Scunthorpe and getting a barrage of abuse. But to be honest he's the only example I can remember of a player not being applauded as they walk off.

i didnt think it was a foul let alone a second yellow. felt the reading lad divied, nd the replay on the champoionship confirmed what i thought :angry: i clapped him offbecause i didnt feel he deserved to go and he was playing alrite. He stil looked really down when i saw him at the players coach
