I'd never been or especially wanted to - until the summer, when I caught the Ka show in Vegas. It was absolutely amazing.

I have just bought the other half two tickets for the Alegria show at the Albert Hall in January as part of her Christmas present, though I'm going to insist she takes a mate for that. Might try and pick up a single ticket, there are a few left (but only a few).

It is amazing, but expensive.

I went to Dralion last January at the Albert Hall with the kids - an experience they'll never forget.

Tickets range from about £25 to about £50 each. The cheap seats will give you an OK view. If you've got that to spend on an afternoon's entertainment it is jaw-droppingly fabulous.

Went to see it at the Albert Hall as well as year or so ago. The only tickets we could get were up in the Gods, round the side which wasn't great but definitely a fantastic show and would go again.

I see there is one at Disney World, have I said I'm going there next week yet?

So what's involved in these events, I might try to go

Pretty sure I saw it in Preston Park, or possibly at the racecourse, a couple of years back. Sort of like a Hells Angel Circus, with Harley Davison's zooming up tightropes & nekkid double-jointed grrls in glass boxes. And lots of :flameboun :flameboun :flameboun

Just GO! What's the worst that can happen?

THPP - you're possibly thinking of Archaos, who used to perform in a circus tent and broke almost every safety rule in the book.

A cheaper alternative to the classy Cirque de Soleil is Circus Oz, who were at the Dome a month ago. Their "double-jointed grrls" are a lot heftier though.

Saw Mystere by Cirque du Soleil in Vegas 5 or 6 weeks ago. Absolutely incredible - not seen anything like it ever.

They have 4 shows resident in Vegas ("O", Mystere, KA and Zumanity), one (La Nouba) at Downtown Disney in Orlando and 7 that are touring around the world right now.

Alegria is coming to the Royal Albert Hall in January - some tickets still available from TicketMaster if you can be flexible about when you go.

Went on a company jolly to see it in Birmingham last year and it was excellent. Would highly recommend it (especially if someone else is paying).
