Worthing
Escape to Victory. I'd also pop Love Actually in that catagory to, as Christmas is incidental to the storyline.

But they both take place at Christmas.

Anyway, for me all the Laurel and Hardy, Marx Brothers, W C Fields films etc that they always used to show at Christmas and sadly never do anymore. Few things better than watching classic L&H knockabout whilst slumped, half-cut and munching a mince pie, on the sofa

Interesting fact- Alfred Hitchcock's Psycho is set at Christmas time.

Opening scene shows the date to be December 11th. However, no reference is made visually to the festive period and no one mentions it. The film covers a period of days that would lead right up to the day its self!

Its a wonderful life was always on around Christmas.

I think it was on to stop the rise in suicides at that time of year.

If I've got the rules right you mean a film that is set at the festive period but doesn't have christmas as it's central theme. In that case I give you Tim Burton's Batman Returns and I'll give you a side order of the original Lethal Weapon and you can have LA Confidential for pud you lucky elves.
