In the Albion news article about Sanchez coming back from FGR there was an interesting bit from Ben Roberts who was saying the loans werten't so much to increase their goalkeeping skills and were more about getting them used to regular first team football and the pressures that brings: having a large crowd right behind you (which very rarely happens at U23 level) and having media attention on any mistakes they make amongst others. Obviously those factors can influence performance for goalkeepers getting used to it.
