Christian Bale rant - fake

I'm not saying it isn't him just sounds like it isn't real somehow, sounds scripted and there is no background noise, very odd for a film set that is erupting into a row.. After the fuss being made I'm not sure now. However, whatever NHM says, if you act like that on set you will gradually find no-one wishing to work with you no-matter how talented you are, and while Bale has been great in some films he has put in some pretty wooden performances (Both Batman films for starters).

Whatever NMH says, he has worked in Hollywood, where these sorts of dramas do go on, and expensive stars who have several million dollars of production expenses under their belt will become prima-donnas x 10.

One of my all-time favourite actors was, in his old-age, a heroin user who often declined to turn up on set (with the set costing tens of thou$and$ a day, they had to do peripheral scenes to keep the crew's day from being a total waste). He also refused to speak several of the script lines, and threw tantrums unless they were re-written.
I doubt he won many friends there, but he still worked afterwards.

When you are small potatoes, you cannot afford the luxury of toys out of the pram. When the crew and set depend on you for their bread and butter, you call the shots and say how high they jump.

It was genuine. Here is Bale's response. Bale was acting part character with his rant and with the charcters accent. Bale IS the character during the months of filming, on and off screen.
